Celebrating 120 Years!
|
Welcome to the official St. Paul Bouncing Team website. We hope you enjoy what you find here, but more importantly we hope we will see you at one of our upcoming events. The St. Paul Bouncing Team is a non-profit organization that performs aerial acrobatics for a variety of both private as well as public social events. Inspired by an Eskimo hunting tradition as well as an innate desire to throw women in the air, the St. Paul Bouncing Team has been entertaining crowds for 120 years. This infamous group of 20 masked (masks optional) men performs the highly technical "blanket toss" (blang'kit tôs) in front of millions of people (not all may be present or watching) countless (Approx. 12) times every year. This elite group is the oldest St. Paul Winter Carnival event and has been featured in most every Winter Carnival since it's inception in 1886.
